CREDITS AND UPGRADE LOGIC
Credits are not a generic subscription layer. They are used only for specific marketplace actions or as AI overage after the included quota runs out. Plans unlock recurring advantages, while credits cover targeted actions.
WHO TOPS UP
Students and parents top up the student wallet for request posts and extra Standard AI. Tutors and academies top up the tutor wallet for proposals, intro / lead unlocks, and extra Standard AI after the included quota.
WHEN A TOP-UP MAKES SENSE
Top-ups are the right move when usage is occasional and you do not need a recurring plan change. They keep one specific flow moving without forcing a subscription jump.
• Student: a few extra request posts beyond the included monthly allowance.
• Tutor: a few extra leads or proposals without recurring demand.
• AI: the Standard quota is exhausted, but you do not need a larger plan yet.
WHEN TO UPGRADE
A better plan makes sense when requests, AI, notes, or lead unlocks are part of your regular workflow and you want recurring included benefits instead of repeated small top-ups.
• Student Plus and Student Max make sense when you want recurring request posts, Notes, and AI.
• Tutor Pro, Tutor Elite, and Academy / Business make sense when you need recurring lead capacity and stronger premium visibility.
• If you keep topping up just to continue the same behavior, the next plan is usually the cleaner choice.
HOW CREDITS ARE EARNED
Right now the platform reward flow is mainly on the tutor side. It does not promise generic cashback on every accepted action.
• Tutor / academy: +0.5 credit after a strong approved review.
• Accepted replies, accepted requests, and accepted chats do not automatically create a new reward.
• If you do not see a reward, that action is simply moving the workflow forward without a credit bonus.
When a better plan removes the need for small repeated top-ups
These are the current included quotas that make an upgrade more logical when usage becomes regular each month.

3 request posts / month + Notes and AI access.
Student Max
8 request posts / month + higher AI allowance and full Notes access.
Tutor Pro
6 new unlocks / month before extra credits kick in.
Tutor Elite
12 new unlocks / month + stronger premium placement.
Academy / Business
20 new unlocks / month for a branded academy / business profile.
What each action costs in credits right now
These are the live product rules. Accepted coordination steps do not consume an extra credit on their own unless the cost was already attached to the action that opened the flow.
Student request
1 credit
To publish an assignment or learning request when the included monthly allowance does not cover it.
Tutor proposal
1 credit tutor / 2 credits business
To send a proposal on a student request. The business wallet spends more than the individual tutor wallet.
Tutor intro / new lead
2 credits free tutor · 1 credit paid tutor
A free tutor pays 2 credits per new unlock. Paid tutor plans drop to 1 credit after the included monthly quota is used.
AI overage
1 credit = 10 extra Standard AI messages
Used after the included Standard AI quota is exhausted.
Accepted reply / approval
0 extra credits
Accepting a request, proposal, or chat does not create a new charge by itself. The cost sits on the post, proposal, or intro that opened the flow.

Only after the relationship progresses inside the platform in an accepted way. The public side shows enough to compare well, but email and phone do not unlock from the first click.
Credits sit either in the student wallet or the tutor / academy wallet. Students use them for request posts and AI overage. Tutors and academies use them for proposals, lead unlocks, and AI overage after the included quota.
